In 2019, I ordered and received a copy of Death & Company’s Modern Classic Cocktails. I probably spent the first year browsing and blowing my mind. I didn’t even recognize many of the ingredients. Initially, I focused on stirred and shaken whiskey cocktails…as those were my personal favorites. As my collections of spirits, amaros, and liqueurs multiplied - I began to branch out and try other cocktails. Eventually, I was in a full blown love affair with making cocktails. I acquired other books and more and more supplies. I finally decided this hobby needed its own place on the internet.
