I received Brad Thomas Parsons’ book “Amaro” as a gift, and I basically read it like 4 times in 2 weeks. Not only is there a ton of fantastic info on amari, it has some killer cocktail specs. I finally purchased a bottle of Cynar and made this one. It called out to me with the bitters ice cube.
1.5oz bourbon
0.5oz Cynar
0.5oz Aperol
1 2in bitters ice cube (prepared in advance about 6 drops of bitters per cube - recipe called for Angostura but I used Bogart’s)
