Martini

I recently had the opportunity to attend a talk and tasting hosted by St. George Spirits and featuring Head Distiller Lance Winters. I already loved many of St. George’s products, but hearing Lance’s passion for creating them really brought a new level of excitement for me. I’ve been playing with the idea of my perfect martini ever since. It’s hard to beat a chilled neat pour of Botanivore gin…it doesn’t really lack for anything on it’s own. Nevertheless, I did enjoy a few of these this weekend.

2oz St. George Botanivore gin

1oz Dolin Dry Vermouth

2 dashes The Bitter Truth Celery Bitters

Pinch of Maldon sea salt flakes

Stir all ingredients with ice, and strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Serve as is or even garnish with an olive.
