Ancient Mariner

I loved getting to check out Black Lagoon pop up when I came to Nickel City in Fort Worth. This tiki cocktail probably isn’t quite goth enough for its glass… I finally had all the ingredients on hand to play with my Hamilton Beachum Navy Grog Rum blend. This is a suggested recipe for the rum blend. It was quite refreshing…and I’ve been on an allspice dram kick lately.

1 1/2 oz Hamilton Beachbum Navy Grog Rum

1 oz fresh lime juice

3/4 oz white grapefruit juice

1/2 oz Hamilton Pimento Dram

1/2 oz simple syrup

Shake with ice and double strain onto fresh ice in a double old fashioned glass. If you have the ability to make a navy grog ice cone…you could use that for garnish along with a mint spring and lime wedge.
