Cast Away

Well, it’s official…I’m in love with Heirloom Brand Alchermes liqueur. This recipe is from their site, and it’s a gem.

3/4oz lime juice

3/4oz orgeat

1 1/2oz bourbon

1/2oz Alchermes

1 dropper/dash of @bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla bitters

I made a double to fill this Sippin’ Santa mug…shake all ingredients with ice, and strain onto pebble ice…top up with pebble ice as needed. I’d garnish with mint sprig, swizzle, and an umbrella. I need to grow some mint.
