Tiki-fied Breakfast Sour

While spending a Sunday morning watching F1 with my husband, I had breakfast/brunch which cocktails on the brain. I kept coming back to the idea of using preserves or marmalade. Bonne Maman Pineapple and Passion Fruit preserves had recently become a beloved item at our house…and so it naturally made it’s way into this gussied up whiskey sour.

2 oz quality bourbon

1 heaping barspoon Pineapple and Passion Fruit preserves

0.5oz vanilla simple syrup

1oz lemon juice

2 dashes Crude Tropi-500 bitters

1 egg white

Add all ingredients to shaker. Dry shake (no ice). Shake with ice and double strain into a coupe. Garnish with a few drops of bitters.
